Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case opened over a crime under part 3 of article 30, article 106 of the RF Penal Code (attempted murder of a newborn by its mother).

On 28 September 2014, at around 11:20 AM, the staff of a mall in Moscow found a newborn baby in a mall’s ladies’ room.

By now the baby’s mother has been identified and detained. She is under investigation aimed to find out all the circumstances of the crime. Charges will soon be pressed and restraint chosen. The investigation is ongoing.
