Investigators request restraint for four suspects in Falcon crash case

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case opened in a crime under part 3 of article 263 of the RF Penal Code (violation of safety standards for operation and traffic of air transport entailing death of two of more people by negligence) after a jet crashed at Vnukovo-3 airport.

It has been reported earlier that the Main Investigations Directorate detained Vnukovo leading flight engineer Vladimir Ledenev, Vnukovo control tower operator Roman Dunayev, flight controller Alexander Kruglov and trainee flight controller Svetlana Krivsun. On the day of the crash Ledenev was in charge of snow clearance, Dunayev, Krivsun and Kruglov of flights. All of them are suspected of failure to ensure flight and land works security which led to the tragedy. 

Today investigators are filing a request with Basmanny district court of Moscow assigning a restraint against the four suspects.
