It has been reported earlier that since 2013, a 7-year-old girl, her mother, sister and stepfather were registered and lived in the village of Verki, Kadom District. But nobody of the village residents of social workers saw the girl throughout 2014. She did not go to hospitals or school. When police officers asked her mother and stepfather about the girl, they explained that she lived with her grandmother and went to school in another village. However, the girl was not found in any one of the houses state by her parents. Moreover, after the police had become interested in the girl, her parents left their house and fled in unknown direction.

The Ryazan Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee started a criminal investigation in a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of a child), mother and stepfather were wanted.

As a result of carefully planned investigative and search operations, the officers and investigators of the regional office of the Russian Ministry of Interior have detected them in Leningrad Region. By now the suspects have been transported to the town of Ryazan and arrested under article 91 of the RF Criminal Procedure Code. The have confessed that the girl is dead. At present the investigators are looking into the cause of her death.
