The North Caucasian Federal District Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has finished investigating a criminal case against Bakhrom Sekinayev. He is charged with crimes under paragraphs “a”, “f”, “g” and “h” of part 2 of article 105, part 3 of article 30, paragraphs “a” and “g” of part 2 of article 105, part 3 of article 222, parts 1 and 2 of article 167, part 1 of article 210, part 1 of article 209, paragraph “a” of part 3 of article 111, part 2 of article 326, part 2 of article 228 of the RF Penal Code (murder, attempted murder, illegal circulation of firearms, deliberate destruction or damage of property, organization of a criminal community, banditry, forgery of a car number plate, illegal drug trafficking).
According to investigators, in August 2012, Sekinayev joined a criminal community set up in the city of Moscow and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania by Georgian national Aslan Gagiyev and became the head of one of the gang’s units. While being a member of the gang Sekinayev took part in the murder of a local man and infliction of grievous bodily harm to a woman in the town of Alagir of North Ossetia-Alania. In addition he was involved in a murder of two men in the city of Vladikavkaz.
On 31 May 2009, before joining the gang and being a member of other criminal group Sekinayev killed two men and tried to kill other two local residents. Besides, Selinayev was involved in illegal circulation of firearms and explosives, use of knowingly forged car registration number and illegal drug dealing.
During the probe Sekinayev confessed to the crimes, gave away other members of the gang, concluded a cooperation deal, therefore the criminal case against him has been severed in a separate proceeding.
The investigators have gathered enough evidence, so the case against Sekinayev with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits.
The investigation of the main criminal case is ongoing. In this case there are 16 gangsters are under arrest and 12 more, including Gagiyev are wanted.
