A round table: “Cooperation of the Chamber of Accounts and Investigative Committee on prevention, suppression and investigation of felonies in finance and budget area” has been held at the System Analysis Research Institute of the Chamber of Accounts.

The meeting chaired by heads of an interagency working group discussed organization and prospects of further relations between the two agencies.

It was noted that the quality of cooperation rose and reached a new level after an Agreement on Cooperation between the Chamber of Accounts and Investigative Committee was signed on 3 March 2014.

The parties made decisions on development of modern methodological recommendations for detailed regulation of the mechanism of joint actions, holding joint educational workshops at the System Analysis Research Institute of the Chamber of Accounts and the Investigative Committee Academy.

At the end of the round table the parties determined necessity of analyzing cooperation of investigating units of the Russia’s Investigative Committee with audit authorities in federal subjects of Russia. They outlined development of joint measures aimed at improvement of relations between the Chamber of Accounts and Investigative Committee.
