The Ulyanovsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continue investigation against a deputy of the Ulyanovsk Region Legislative Assembly – CEO of Tryokhsosnesky Factory Mikhail Rodionov suspected of a crime under paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 199 o0f the RF Penal Code (evasion of taxes on a very grand scale).

According to investigators, in 2013, the suspect evaded paying excise duties for the products produced and sold by his factory. He used a criminal scheme of lowering the amount of actually sold alcohol production and because of that the federal budget did not get over two billion rubles.

At present, the investigators are carrying out investigative operations to reimburse the damage. Following the request of the investigator, a court has arrested Rodionov’s bank accounts with over 150 million rubles on them, 18 expensive cars and two yachts worth over 15 million rubles.

The investigation is ongoing.
