Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin during his visit to Cairo on 23 November 2015, met Prosecutor General of Egypt Nabil Sadik and had consultations with Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal.

During the talks with Mr. Sadik they discussed interagency cooperation in investigating criminal cases opened in relation to the Russian Airbus-321 crush in Egypt.

The same subject was mentioned during the meeting with Mr. Kamal who presented interim results of the investigation conducted by the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation.

In general, the talks were detailed and constructive. The parties reached an agreement on continuing cooperation and mutual exchange of information during the investigation. At the same time the parties agreed that it was only possible to efficiently fight terrorism using a global approach and by united efforts of all countries.
