A meeting between Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in the Russian Federation Jean-Maurice Ripert has been held at the Russia’s Investigative Committee.
Mr. Bastrykin expressed his deep condolences to France over killing of civilians in Paris. Terrorism is a crime without excuses or forgiveness. All civilized countries have to unite their efforts and exterminate this worldwide plague.
During the meeting the parties discussed legal assistance in certain criminal investigations of mutual interests. Special attention was paid to the necessity to unite efforts to fight terrorism, extremism and money laundering.
The parties acknowledged that the dialogue they had was constructive and helpful for consolidation of mutually beneficial cooperation.
