Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has taken part in the XI National Conference: Derzhavin Readings in the city of Kazan organized by the National State University of Justice.

During the conference the Chairman attended the round table: Correlation of National and International Law in Law-Enforcement of CIS member-states.

After the meeting Mr. Bastrykin visited the museum of the Tatarstan Investigations Directorate and saw forensic equipment the investigators had.

In addition, Mr. Bastrykin held a meeting attended by heads of investigations directorates of seven regions included in Volga Federal District. Having discussed performance of investigating bodies, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee heard about the progress and results of investigations in major cases.
