Cadets of Investigative Committee’s Siberian Cadet School take oath in presence of Committee Vice-Chairman

On 7 November 2016, cadets of the Investigative Committee’s Siberian Cadet School based in the city of Novosibirsk took the oath in the presence of Investigative Committee Vice Chairman Ilya Lazutov, as well as the Head of the 5th department of the Committee’s Head Office also based in Novosibirsk, General Director of the Siberian Cadet School, heads of investigative offices in Russian regions that are part of Siberian Federal District and guests of honor: the Presidential Plenipotentiary in Siberian Federal District, Governor of Novosibirsk Region, Vice-Mayor of Novosibirsk and cadets’ parents.

The cadet class was established following the order of the Investigative Committee’s Chairman. In February 2016, The Investigative Committee concluded agreement “On training cadets in cadet classes at the Siberian Cadet Boarding School, a municipal state-funded educational institution in the city of Novosibirsk”. The 5th department of the Committee’s Head Office is involved in cooperating with the cadet school.

At the present time the Siberian Cadet School has the 10th social science and liberal arts class with criminal investigation as a major. There are 21 cadets (18 boys and 3 girls) in this class, all of them are graduates of 9th classes of regular schools who said they wanted to serve in the RF Investigative Committee in future.

After the swearing in ceremony Mr. Lazutov visited the school and met with its administration, took a look at classrooms and administration premises, the dormitory, museum, cafeteria and then took part in the cadet parade dedicated to the Russia’s Military Glory Day.
