During his visit the Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has made a report at the XIII International Conference on criminal law held in Varadero.

The Conference is one of the most distinguished international law forums in Latin America which annually gathers heads of law-enforcement and oversight authorities, as well as representatives of international NGOs and scientists from over 20 countries.

This year the forum discussed problems of fighting against international crime related to human traffic, corruption, money laundering, fraud, tax evasion and returning the income gained by criminal means.

During the event the Chairman met with the Prosecutor General of Cuba Dario Delgado Cura, Prosecutor Generals of Panama, Ecuador, Argentina, Portugal.

The parties discussed the most pressing issues of mutual interest and expressed their intention to strengthen their practical cooperation to fight transnational organized crimes.
