Three suspects of murder of 6 in Ivashevka settlement, Samara Region detained

The officials of the Investigative Committee in close cooperation with the Samara Region Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior, Crime Detection Directorate, Samara Region Office of the Ministry of the Interior, Syzran Office of the Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Security Services have identified killers of 6 people and those who badly injured a small girl in Samara Region (Part 2 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code, Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 105).

On the morning of 24 April 2016, dead bodies of two men and four women with signs of violent death were found in a house in the settlement of Ivashevka, Syzran District, Samara Region. The victims are the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Samara Region Directorate of the Interior Ministry and his relatives. A 7-year-old girl was taken from the murder scene to a hospital in grave condition.

As a result of carefully planned operations, three suspects were detained in Samara Region on 30 April and on the might of 1 May 2016. They are nationals of a Middle Asian republic. All of the detainees are going to be charged soon and a motion has already been sent to court to remand them in custody pending trial.

During the operations the investigators seized crime instruments hidden by the suspects and the certificate of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Samara Region Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior Andrei Gosht.

This way, the version of robbery-related murder considered as the main one is confirmed.

There is a special investigative team of over 25 investigators and criminalists set up to investigate the crime. Lie detector specialists, psychologists are involved, hundreds of investigative and search operations have been conducted and 19 different forensic inquiries have been assigned, dozens of searches and confiscations have been carried out, a large number of witnesses have been questioned, several examinations of the crime scene have been conducted.

Active work is ongoing to find out all the details of the crime and to identify other people involved.
