Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of investigative authorities and colleagues!
I sincerely congratulate you on the 71st anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
For over 7 decades 9 May has been a national and especially respected day, the most important and favorite holiday in our country.
Historically, the people will always keep in memory the feat of a soldier who defended freedom and independence of his Motherland, the feat which has been cherished in the hearts of generations.
On this significant day we bow our heads to commemorate those killed on battlefields, who died in concentration camps, who gave their lives and health in the labor frontline and at the rear of the enemy and we celebrate those who live.
Staying true patriots of their Fatherland, loyal successors to finest traditions of their grandfathers and fathers, heroes of the Great Patriotic War, employees of the Russia’s Investigative Committee do their duty with honor protecting rights and legal interests of Russian citizens.
I express sincere gratitude to our dear veterans for their heroic deed and their invaluable contribution in the common cause of the Great Victory, many years of their committed service in the ranks of those defending the law, their active participation in the development of the young generation of investigators, their tireless care of the education of young people.
I wish all of you sound health, many years of life, peace, wellbeing and new successes on service for the good of our Fatherland!
