The Khabarovsk Territory Office of the Investigative Committee continues investigating a murder of 5 people, a crime under Part 2, item “a” of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder).

According to preliminary information, on the night of 13 July 2016, four men were drinking alcohol in a house in the settlement of Beryozovy, Solnexhny District, Khabarovsk Territory. During the party they had a conflict and two 21-year-old men stabbed their 30-year-old and 17-year-old acquaintances multiple times. The two men died on the scene. After that the young men went to a farm they had worked on. They found two sleeping odd-job men aged 50 and 41 in a trailer, and stabbed them to death. They did the same to the owner of the farm, a man aged 44, who had allegedly paid them less that they had agreed on before.

The two perpetrators have been detained thanks to well-planned and conducted investigative and search operations. They have been charged with a crime under Part 2, item “a” of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder).

According to the investigators, the men have previous convictions: one for hooliganism, theft, threat to murder and infliction of light bodily harm, the second for theft. Both of them are out of job now.

A court has ruled to place the two men in custody pending trial.
