Dead bodies of 4 people: a 34-year-old man and 42-year-old woman, a girl aged 2.5 years and a boy aged 5 years were found today in the afternoon in a house in Sobetskaya Street in Kirovsky District, Samara with multiple stab wounds. The Samara Region Office of the Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation into a crime under Part 2, items “a” and “c” of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of two or more people and children).

Considering that the windows and doors in the flat were closed from inside, investigators believe that the father could have killed the children and woman and then killed himself.

An investigative team involving senior officials and investigators of the third major cases office, criminalists of the regional office of the Investigative Committee are working at the scene. Initial forensic medical and other inquiries have been assigned. The investigators are looking into all the details of the crime and identifying those involved.
