In Perm, three local residents found guilty of brutal murders and robbery

A court has recognized the evidence collected by the Perm Territory Office of the Investigative Committee sufficient to convict three residents of Kirvosky District of the city of Perm who are ex-convicts. Based on the verdict of the jury, they were found guilty of crimes under Part 2, items “a”, “c”, “e”, “g” and “h” of Article 105 (murder of two people including an individual known by the killer to be in helpless state) and Part 4, item “c” of Article 162 of the RF Penal Code (robbery).

The court and investigators have revealed that in April 2015, a 40-year-old man and his girlfriend killed her mother. They buried her alive near Zakamskoye cemetery. In May 2015, the two and their friend killed their common acquaintance, whose body they also buried. They stole from the killed woman golden jewelries worth over 30,000 rubles.

The investigators carried out a lot of investigative and procedural operations to find out all the details of the crimes. They examined the crime scenes, questioned dozens of witnesses and ran a number of forensic inquiries. According to the conclusions of forensic psychiatric examinations all three of the accused are sane.

The court has sentenced the 40-year-old man to 24 years in a special-security correctional facility, the 26-year-old man 16 years in a maximum-security correctional facility and the 24-year-old woman to 19 years in a minimum-security correctional facility and a fine of 5,000 rubles.
