The Ulyanovsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has finished the investigation against two gynecologists of the Ulyanovsk Region Clinical Hospital charged with a crime under Part 2 of Article 109 of the RF penal Code (infliction of death by negligence due to professional misconduct).

According to investigators, on the night of 27 August 2015, the said doctors made a surgery on a 36-year-old woman with complications after childbirth. They did not examine the patient or stop bleeding which led to the woman’s death.

The investigators have enough evidence, so the criminal case with the signed indictment has been referred to court.
