The Krasnoyarsk Territory office of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation into a crime under part 1 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder) following the murder of a doctor.

According to a preliminary version, on the evening of 11 October 2016, a 28-year-old patient came to an appointment to a doctor at a hospital in the city of Norilsk. While in the doctor’s office, he expressed some complaints to the doctor, them he ran out the hospital, came to his home and returned holding a gun with which he shot the 35-year-old doctor. The man was hiding in his friend’s flat, where he was detained two hours later.

By now, a ballistic inquiry and a forensic medical examination of the victim’s body have been assigned and the suspect is being interviewed. The investigation is ongoing.
