Another crime of director of federal prison authority’s preserving plant Pavel Belikov revealed

The Head Office of the Investigative Committee continues the investigation against Pavel Belikov, the director of Preserving Plant, a federal state-funded unitary enterprise owned by the Federal penitentiary Service charged with stealing more than 350 million rubles from government contracts via his official position (Part 4 of Article 159 of the RF Penal Code).

Another crime committed by Belikov has been revealed during the investigation.

According to investigators, in 2015, Belikov stole 65 million rubles from the Preserving Plant by concluding a contract with OOO Master-konditer on supply of raw materials used by the plant to make margarine at inflated price and by transferring the money to bank accounts of legal entities controlled by Belikov.
