Alexander Bastrykin includes Vladimir Markin in Investigative Committee’s Civic Council

Chairman of the RF Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has met today former head of the Investigative Committee’s Media Relations Department and presently the First Deputy CEO of PAO RusGidro, a public corporation, Vladimir Markin.

The meeting was also attended by vice-chairmen of the Investigative Committee and heads of central office’s divisions.

Mr. Bastrykin thanked Mr. Markin for his service in the Investigative Committee and great personal contribution to the development of the agency, adding that Mr. Markin “built the transparent and efficient informational policy from scratch offering innovative, very bold approaches to relations with the mass media, which eventually proved correct. This allowed the Investigative Committee to become one of distinctive law-enforcement agencies with an individual image and high-quality approach to covering events within its competence as a priority. Today the Media Relations Department and respective departments in regions keep on working as a single body.”

At the meeting Mr. Bastrykin offered Mr. Markin considering his extensive experience to continue cooperating with his former colleagues and join the Civic Council under the RF Investigative Committee. Mr. Markin accepted the offer with gratitude and promised to assist the Investigative Committee in new form. Mr. Bastrykin also offered Mr. Markin support and assistance from the Investigative Committee.

To conclude the meeting Mr. Bastrykin awarded Mr. Markin Investigative Committee’s medal “For Service” and wished him success in his work in RusGidro.
