The Stavropol Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has finished the investigation against CEO of OOO Stavropol – Agroleasing, a limited liability company, charged with a crime under part 1 of Atticle 201 of the RF Penal Code (abuse of power).

According to investigators, from 2006 to 2009, OOO Stavropol-Agroleasing and OAO Rosagroleasing, a public corporation, concluded more than 300 contracts, including on financial lease of assets, sale of pedigree cattle, supply and lease with option of purchase. However, the accused while being able to pay for the contracts, evaded meeting his commitments. Rosagroleasing suffered a damage of more than 1 billion 603 million rubles which the accused spent as he deemed fit.

Investigators have carried out a number of investigative and other procedural operations aimed at documenting the evidence, including confiscation of financial documents from Stavropol-Agroleasing. There are now 60 case files.

By now the criminal case with the signed indictment has been referred to court.
