The Major Cases Directorate of the Investigative Committee has finished the criminal proceedings against former governor of Kirov Region Nikita Belykh charged with two counts of bribery under Part 6 of Article 290 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, in 2012-2016, Nikita Belykh in person and through middle-men got 600 thousand euros in bribes for committing both legal and illegal actions as well as omission in the interests of bribe givers and AO Novaya Vyatka Sledge Plant and OOO Forestry Managing Company controlled by them and for general patronage and connivance in the Kirov Region Government’s controlling execution of investment projects and business done by the enterprises in Kirov Region.

The accused and his lawyers have been notified today that the proceedings were finished and soon they are going to get the criminal records to read.
