Second rally of Investigative Committee’s cadets finishes in Stavropol

The second rally of Investigative Committee’s cadets has been closed at the Lieutenant General of Justice Mikhail Yadrov school No 24 in the city of Stavropol. A rich four-day program allowed representatives from Moscow, Khabarovsk, Murmansk, Khimki, Stavropol, Kemerovo, Sebastopol, Saint Petersburg, Vologda and Novosibirsk which have schools with Investigative Committee’s cadet classes to share best practices in education, instilling moral qualities, patriotism and creative abilities. Special focus was made on the development of civic initiative and independence of cadets, higher role of building civic consciousness and instilling patriotism, motivation of cadets to master their future profession of investigator and to be ready to serve their country.

The cadets had a busy and interesting schedule. They took part in educational events discussing pressing issues. During one of such events Modern Forensic Technologies Used for Criminal Investigations the cadets dove into the work of criminalists by taking fingerprints, looking for physical evidence on a crime scene and conducting other investigative operations. During Life Navigation. Professional Self-Determination the cadets had a group psychological training class which helped them to see if they made a correct choice of profession. At Ecology of an Eye as a National Priority for Efficient Development of Russia they discussed important issues of preserving the environment with developing technical progress and to work out their proposals for solving this problem.

The event Modern IT Environment as a Basis for Keeping the Nation Safe drew great interest of the cadets. They came up with their own proposals for different age categories urging for safe use of telecommunication systems.

The second day of the rally started with a tour around Stavropol. The guests of the city were able to see the city’s beauty, its sights, the single urban architectural ensemble combining 18th century buildings and some modern structures. Then the children set off to the school to take part in quiz game I’m Going To Be An Investigator. The game had four stages. The cadets gave definitions of legal concepts and solved legal problems. Student of Yadrov school No 24 Yevgeny Lobannikov took the 3rd place, Vladimir Batishchev another student of school No 24 became 2nd while Margarita Chimiris from boarding cadet school in Khimki won the game.

The cadets competed in shooting from pneumatic rifles with the team of the Saint Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee coming 3rd, the team of the Khimki boarding cadet school 2nd and the team of the Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Investigative Committee 1st. In an individual event among girls the 1st place was taken by student of the Khimki boarding cadet school Margarita Chimiris and among boys by Timofei Shubin, a cadet of the province boarding cadet school of the Russian Emergency Ministry in the town of Kemerovo.

The events were summed up at a closing ceremony where the cadets were awarded letters of commendations and journals of Investigative Committee’s cadets.

The rally was finished with a concert by groups from Stavropol Territory who made impressive performances representing variety and local colour of Stavropol Territory.

The eventful and memorable second rally of cadets became a great event for its participants and helped to implement a task of consolidating ties between cadet organizations and Investigative Committee’s cadet school and classes in different regions.
