The North Caucasus Federal District Directorate of the Investigative Committee has finished criminal proceedings against CEO of an alcohol company in Kabardino-Balkaria Ruslan Dazhuyev. He is charged with evading paying corporate tax by putting false information in tax declarations committed on a very large scale.

According to investigators, the CEO of OOO Alco-Light, a limited liability company located in the town of Nartkala filed with tax authorities of Kabardino-Balkaria excise duty reports where he understated the amount of alcohol his company produced and sold for three months of 2015 (October, November and December). This way, the company evaded paying more than 815 million rubles in excise duties.

During the probe, the investigators made sure that more than 213 million rubles in excise duties was paid to the budget. They also arrested the company’s equipment and its produce worth over 100 million rubles.

The investigators have enough evidence, so the criminal case with the signed indictment has been referred to court.
