The Tomsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a probe in infliction of death by negligence to 2 or more persons under Part 3 of Article 119 of the RF Penal Code, after death of three people in a fire in the settlement of Orekhovo, Pervomaiskoye District.

According to investigators, on 23 April 2017 approximately at 05:00 PM a fire happened in a two-storey house in the settlement of Orekhovo, Pervomaiskoye District, Tomsk Region. The Emergencies Ministry’s rescuers found a body of a 34-years-old man and his daughter born in 2005 and son born in 2014.

Currently the investigators look into the incident. The scene was thoroughly examined, forenstic medical and fire tests were appointed, and witnesses are being questioned. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
