Alexander Bastrykin met with citizens on 16 May 2017 in Moscow. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee received residents of the city of Moscow, Tula and Belgorod Regions.

Most of the complaints filed related to procedural decisions made over criminal cases investigated in regional authorities of the Investigative Committee.

Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of Investigative Committee’s territorial offices. The Chairman assumed personal control over consideration of all complaints and appeals received.
