Working meeting held at St. Petersburg Academy of Investigative Committee

A working meeting headed by Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has been held today at the Saint Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee.

The meeting was attended by the management of the Academy, Cadet School, representatives of the Investigative Committee’s divisions.

The Chairman heard report by the chancellor of the Academy on execution of his orders and Academy’s first-priority tasks. The meeting discussed the 2017-2018 admission campaign, scientific and publishing activities of the Academy as well as performance of the Academy’s Senate. Mr. Bastrykin supported events planned by the Academy in the area of scientific activity and international cooperation involving students of the department of law.

Acting director of the Saint Petersburg Cadet School of the Investigative Committee Colonel of Justice Igor Sirenko reported on development and technical level of the school.

The meeting paid special attention to renovation of the campus.

The Chairman made a number of recommendations and set tasks regarding further development of the Investigative Committee’s educational institutions.
