The Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe into violation of rights of six children upon mass media materials. As reported by mass media, the children ended up on the street, loitering and living in shacks because their mother and her cohabitant kicked them out of their apartment.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the direction of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia to establish all circumstances and causes the entailed the situation with the children, and to give a legal assessment to actions (inaction) of prevention system authorities. Alexander Bastrykin also instructed to report on the progress of assessment and to launch a probe into violation of rights of the minors if there are grounds.
