The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia gives instructions with reference to media reports

A number of media outlets reported that relatives of a woman who died in one of the city hospitals in Mariinsk in 2020 criticized the course of the criminal investigation initiated under Part 2 Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (causing death by negligence due to improper performance of professional duties by a person). The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting head of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kemerovo region-Kuzbass A.S. Bezukladnikov to report on the progress of the criminal investigation and also instructed the leadership of the Forensic Center of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to join in the expert study to establish an objective picture of what happened in the near future.
