Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs Officials to Investigate New Facts of Criminal Actions of Ukrainian Nationalists Against Civilians

Ukrainian nationalists continue to commit crimes against civilians. In the city of Chernigov, fighters of nationalist battalions took away food from the local population under the threat of physical reprisal. In Zaporozhye, the authorities forcibly distributed fire bottle bombs to the locals and urged the civilians to throw them at Russian troops, pushing people to inevitable death. In Kharkov, nationalists fired at the place of distribution of humanitarian aid. In Severodonetsk, nationalist formations forcibly placed the local population around residential buildings they had occupied. Civilians, who had refused to leave their hiding places and take to the streets, were shot dead.

In addition, shelling of the town of Irmino in the Lugansk People's Republic by Ukrainian forces reportedly killed one civilian and wounded three others yesterday.

A.I. Bastrykin has instructed the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia, in cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of the LPR and the DPR, to collect and record evidence of crimes committed against civilians and identify all those involved in this with a view to subsequently bringing them to justice as established by law.
