Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed Mr. P.I. Yudin, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Orel Oblast, to provide information on the preliminary results of a procedural verification of information related to putting pressure on entrepreneurs by Officials (Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

A repeated appeal to the Leadership of the Investigative Committee was published on social networks, where citizens who are engaged in route transportation of passengers in Orel report ongoing illegal actions in relation to their economic activities.

The Head of the Department instructed the investigators to study the new arguments of the applicants and, in case of any grounds, to take a procedural decision immediately.
