The investigative bodies of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Vladimir region have opened a criminal case against the deputy of Karinskoye village of Aleksandrovsky district Yevgeny Stepanov. He is suspected of a crime under part 1 of article 322 of the Russian Criminal Code (organization of illegal crossing by foreigners of the border of the Russian Federation).

According to the version by the investigators, Stepanov, in the period from August 2011 to March 2012, dealing with trade used labor of foreign citizens in subsidiary work. The suspect, knowing that they did not have any local registration of permission to work in Russia, organized for the workers living and working conditions.

At the moment investigative actions are being carried out to establish all circumstances of the crime. Investigation is to be continued.
