In Khabarovsk territory head of Air Navigation of Far East branch and two businessmen suspected of deceit stealing of more than 2 million rubles

Far East Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have initiated a criminal case against Head of Switching Center of Air Navigation of Far East branch of the federal state unitary institution the State Corporation on Air Traffic in the Russian Federation and two businessmen. They are suspected of a crime under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Criminal Code (swindling on an especially large scale).

According to investigators, head of the branch in the period from 2004 to December 2011 entered into a criminal conspiracy with two heads of a commercial organization in the city of Khabarovsk.

According to their scheme of stealing money from the branch of Air Navigation of Far East, the head of the branch unlawfully and without signing an formal agreement, independently using technical capabilities of the enterprise, allowed communication channels to Open Joint-Stock Company Y.A. Gagarin Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Production Association (OAO).

Moreover, to conceal unlawful actions and to get money at their disposal the businessmen concluded a fictitious agreement between OAO Gagarin Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Production Association and the commercial firm. The money received from allegedly rendered services was divided between the accomplices.

The total sum of damage resulted from swindling amounts to more than 2 million rubles.

The crime was revealed as a result of joint work of investigators and officers of Federal Security Service Directorate in the Khabarovsk territory.

At present a complex of necessary investigation operations are under way to establish all circumstances of the crime. Investigation is to be continued.
