In the morning of 18 June 2012 law enforcement bodies got a message that a 29-year-old female resident of Nizhny Tagil died in the Central city hospital of Beryozovsky. The woman had been brought to the hospital from women’s rehabilitation center of the fund Gorod bez Narkotikov (City without drugs) (located in the village of Sarapulka of Beryozovsky town district).

To find all circumstances of the incident in more detail the Sverdlovsk region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have initiated a criminal case into the fact on the signs of a crime under part 2 of article 109 of the RF Criminal Code (infliction of death by negligence owing to improper discharge by a person of his professional duties).

Within the framework of the initiated case investigators are going to question employees of the fund Gorod bez Narkotikov, persons who had taken rehabilitation course simultaneously with the woman, as well as medics who delivered the woman into the hospital and rendered her medical treatment. Investigation is going to find how qualified and timely was medical help rendered to the woman. Investigation is to be continued.
