Khabarovsk investigating bodies of Russia’s Investigative Committee are carrying out a pre-investigative check into OOO Sanatorium Druzhba (LC) rendering service not meeting the requirement of safeyty and health of people which led to the children leaving the place without permission.

According to preliminary information, from 30 June to 26 July 2012 the police registered 42 requests for searching minors (aged 13-16). At present 35 children who left the camp without permission are returned. It should be noted that the children that are on holidays in this camp are residents of orphanages.

At present all circumstances of the incident are being established. A procedural decision will be made after the check.
