A foreign citizen who had committed a crime in the Perm Territory and the Chelyabinsk region was sentenced to long term

The evidence collected by the investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Perm Territory was recognized by the court sufficient to convict 33-year-old citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Begidzhonov. He was found guilty of offenses under Part 4 of the Article 111 of the RF Criminal Code (intentional infliction of serious bodily injury that resulted in the death of the victim by negligence), and Part 3 of the Article 327 of the RF Criminal Code (using forged documents).

Investigation and the court found that on the night of October 10, 2011 in the apartment of one of the houses in Berezniki Begidzhonov had beaten his compatriot due to his personal hostile relations with the victim. The man succumbed to injuries at the scene. After that, hiding from the authorities, Begidzhonov left Berezniki. In order to freely leave the territory of Russia he showed a deliberately falsified passport of the citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan with his photo and information of another person to the worker of the security desk “Chelyabinsk-Airport” of the border office of the FSB of Russia in Chelyabinsk region, an examination revealed signs of forgery.

Court sentenced Begidzhonov to 12 years and 1 month of imprisonment in a maximum security penal colony.
