On 26 August 2012 at about 4 a.m. in café Ritm in the village of Pestravka in Samara Region one of the clients after the confrontation opened gunfire on other clients of the café. 7 people were hospitalized, one of them is in grave condition. Six others have already left the hospital.

Samara Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have initiated a criminal case over crimes under part 2 of article 30, paragraphs “a”, “f” of part 2 of article 105 (attempted murder of two or more persons, committed by a generally dangerous method).

At present search and investigating operations are under way to identify and detain a person who committed the crime and to find out all the circumstances. Investigation is to be continued.
