Head of Perm Airlines suspected of abusing powers entailing more than 7.5 million rubles damage to the company’s interests

The investigating bodies of the Urals Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee have initiated a criminal case against CEO of state territorial unitary institution Perm Airlines suspected of a crime under part 1 of article 201 of the RF Criminal Code (abuse of powers involving grave consequences for the legal interests of an organization).

According to investigators, in July 2012, the suspect violating the requirements for wages for heads of state institutions ordered to pay himself a bonus following the results of the performance of the airlines, not discussing this with the owner of property – Perm Territory Property Management Agency and Government of the Perm Territory. As a result of his abuse of powers in spite of legal interests of the company and with the purpose to get profit, the state institution Perm Airlines suffered a damage of more than 7.5 million rubles paid as a bonus to its head.

At present investigating operations are underway to establish all the circumstances of the crime, to collect and consolidate the evidence. Investigation is to be continued.
