Arrest term extended for the accused in Bulgaria wreck case in Tatarstan

Today the court under the petition of the Tatarstan Republic investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have extended the arrest term up to 10 November 2012 for Svetlana Inyakina and Yakov Ushakov charged with Bulgaria wreck on 10 July 2011 in Kuybyshevsk reservoir.

We remind that Inyakina is charged with crimes under part 2 of article 143 (violation of labor protection rules), part 2 of article 238 (rendering of services which do not meet safety standards), part 3 of article 263 of the RF Criminal Code (violation of the rules for traffic safety and operation of inner river transport).

Ivashov is charged with crimes under part 3 of article 238 (illegal issuance of official documents certifying conformity of the services with the safety requirements), part 3 of article 285 of the RF Criminal Code (abuse of official powers out of mercenary or other personal interest).

At present the five of the accused continue reading the files of the criminal case initiated on 7 June 2012. Not long before that more than 200 victims have completed reading more than 90 volumes of the case.
