Investigative Committee looks for a source of pictures appeared in Internet and showing bodies of those killed in a Polish plane crash near Smolensk

The Russia’s Investigative Committee has checked appearing in the Internet sources pictures showing bodies of those killed in a Tu-154M, Polish Air Forces, plane crash on 10 April, 2010.

The check showed: the pictures posted in the Internet are not included in the criminal case opened over the crash and being investigated by the Russia’s Investigative Committee and were not taken by employees of the Committee.

In addition, measures are underway to seize the photo materials from media. The persons are being established who took and presented the said pictures for publication and motives of such actions.
