Direct telephone communication took place between Chairman of the Investigative Committee and citizens

Citizens from Rostov, Belgorod, Chelyabinsk, Bryansk, Vladimir Regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District and Moscow called on 17 October the Chairman of the Russian Federation Investigative Committee.

Most of the called complained about improper investigation of criminal cases under proceedings in investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

Thus, namely, a man who called from Belgorod Region reported corruption crime committed by a professor of a university. A man from Chelyabinsk Region told the chairman about wrongdoings of officials in Chebarkul city administration. Then a woman from Rostov complained about improper investigation of a criminal case launched over her son’s death by military investigations department located in Vladikavkaz. A woman from Moscow reported a unfounded criminal citing of her son, a policeman, for exceeding official powers.

Following the communication Alexander Bastrykin gave explicit instructions to the heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies of the Investigative Committee.
