Central Federal District investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have initiated a criminal case against Head of Agreement Office of the Moscow Department of Property Relations Denis Vasilyev, as well as against Sergey Nikiforov and Andrey Simonenko. They are suspected of crimes under part 6 of article 290, parts 3, 4, 5 of article 33, part 6 of article 290 of the RF Criminal Code (bribe-taking, organization, instigation to and complicity in bribe-taking).

According to investigators the above mentioned persons demanded from Deputy CEO of a commercial organization 223 thousand of US dollars for extension of lease contract on real estate belonging to Moscow.

The above mentioned persons were detained during joined operations conducted by investigators of the Russia’s Investigative Committee and officers of Central Federal District main Directorate of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs. Under the petition of the investigators Mikiforov and Simonenko have already been placed into custody as a pretrial restraining measure, investigators have also initiated the same measure against Vasilyev. Investigation is to be continued.
