Experienced investigators criminologists from the Central Office of the Russia’s Investigative Committee sent for practical assistance in investigating murder of Deputy Chief Designer in Tula Region

Tula Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched criminal proceedings over signs of a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the RF Criminal Code (murder).

We remind that in the evening of 21 November 2012, in the town of Tula a man’s body with a gun wound to his head was found near a house in Krasnoarmeysky Prospekt.

According to investigators, the victim – Vyacheslav Trukhachov was Deputy Chief Designer of state unitary enterprise Instrument Engineering Design Bureau a branch of Central Design and Research Bureau of sports hunting rifle.

Investigators are considering different versions of the crime, including the crime connected with the victim’s professional activity.

Experienced investigators criminologists from the Central Office of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have been sent from Moscow to Tula Region to render practical assistance in investigating the crime.

At present records of video surveillance cameras have been seized, witnesses are being searched for. Investigators have found a 9 mm cartridge case, which was sent for expert examination. A number of search and investigating operations are under way to establish all circumstances of the crime and a person involved.
