Former CEO of Zenit in Tyumen Region charged with property damage of over 26 million rubles

The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in Tyumen Region have finished investigating a criminal case against a deputy of Duma of Uporovsky municipal district. He is charged with the crime under paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 165 of the RF Penal Code (property damage on an especially massive scale by abuse of trust).

According to investigators, the accused in 2010, being the CEO of OOO Zenit (LLC), concluded with OOO StroyKapital (LLC) a 50 million rubles contractor’s agreement on construction of Milk trade farm for 1,280 milk cows in the village of Ingalinskoye in Uporovsky district. When the work had been finished, OOO Zenit was liable for paying OOO StroyKapital over 26 million rubles for the work done. however, the CEO of OOO Zenit deliberately and out of mercenary interests, wanting to avoid paying the money and to make some illegal profit for himself, forged documents containing knowingly false information that OOO StroyKapital had not constructed Milk trade farm for 1,280 milk cows in the village of Ingalinskoye in Uporovsky district.

Investigators have gathered enough evidence and the criminal case has been sent for the indictment to be approved.
