According to investigators, on 20 November 2013, about 11:00 AM, on 17th km of motorway Moscow – Shchepkovo, the 33-year-old man driving a Toyota-Camry, travelling from Shchepkovo to Moscow, stopped at the crossroads beyond the stop-line. At that moment the driver blocked the officer hand in the window and started driving away. He dragged the officer about 300 meters. The police officer suffered multiple injuries and was taken to hospital. The suspect was detained the same evening.

The investigators have found that before he has been repeatedly prosecuted for gross violations of traffic code and his driving license has been taken from him up to 2015 for drunk driving.

Today on the request of the investigator the court ruled to remand the man into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
