On 6 December 2013, around 11:25 AM, a private two-seat helicopter crashed and caught fire on impact near the village of Muraveynik in Belokalitvinsky district, Rostov Region. There were two people on board the helicopter, who died in the crash. The Southern Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a pre-investigating check into the accident.

The identities of the killed and the cause of the crash are being looked at. At present the crash scene is being examined and the traces of the crash are being fixed. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
