Working meeting of Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee and Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Poland takes place at the Investigative Committee

A working meeting of Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Seremet took place at the Investigative Committee on 14 March 2013. The meeting was also attended by Chief Military Prosecutor of Poland Jerzy Artymiak , representatives of Polish prosecutor’s office and of the Central Office of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

During the meeting the parties discussed interaction between the Investigative Committee and competent bodies of Poland while investigating criminal cases over Tu-154 M crash in Smolensk on 10 April 2010.

The parties exchanged up to date information about the investigation and rendering international legal assistance in those investigations and reconciled further steps in conducting specific investigating and other procedural operations in the territories of Russia and Poland.
