Investigating agencies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are continuing to investigate the criminal case against Sergei Pomazun accused of committing crimes under Articles 105, 226 of the Criminal Code (murder, theft of weapons) and suspected of the assault on the life of a law enforcement officer (Article 317 of the Criminal Code).

As part of the investigation of the criminal case more than 50 expert examinations, including genetic, trasological, forensic, medical, ballistic, biological, and several others have been scheduled. Sergei Pomazun underwent a comprehensive outpatient forensic psychological and psychiatric examination, the experts have found him sane.

Recall that on April 22 Pomazun took over a firearm owned by his father and drove the vehicle «BMW X5» to the store "Okhotnik" in order to steal weapons. While in the store, he fired at two sellers and a visitor. After stealing weapons from the store, Pomazun went out and committed the murder of three other passers-by. During the arrest Pomazun stabbed a police officer. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
