Accused Dmitry Vinogradov began familiarization with materials of criminal case

Investigative agencies of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow began to familiarize Dmitry Vinogradov with the materials of the criminal case. He is accused of committing crimes under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code, Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder of two or more persons, attempted murder of two or more persons) and Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activity).

According to investigators, in the morning of November 7, 2012 Vinogradov motivated by personal enmity with unspecified persons and the need for self-affirmation came into the office the pharmaceutical company where he worked, and made a lot of carbine shots at his colleagues. As a result, three men and two women died at the scene. Another man died at hospital. Only one victim has survived. Vinogradov was detained by company’s security officers, who had heard the shots.

In order to justify and excuse his crime, in the morning, before committing the above-mentioned criminal acts, Vinogradov posted a text entitled "My Manifesto" on his page in a social network. Investigators have examined the text and, according to psychological and linguistic expert evaluations, it contained calls for extremist activities.

After the accused get familiarized with the criminal case, it will be sent for approval of the indictment and subsequent submission to the court for consideration on the merits.
