On 8 February 2014, one of federal TV channels showed footage about abusing housing rights of a pensioner in the city of Kaliningrad. Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a pre-investigating check into the incident ordered by the Chairman of the Committee.

The check is going to find all the circumstances of the incident. The investigators are going to take measures to eliminate the violations. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
